  Me and my 2 yr old sat in the waiting room almost 1 hr and 30 mins. He had a fever, wheezing and coughing. He was only given Tylenol in the waiting room and was told to wait for a room. Once in the room we waited another 30 mins without being seen and end up leaving. No one knew we had left until I stopped at registration. It is pitiful that people have to wait for so long and be sick. They don't even come in to check on you while waiting. It is ridiculous.

  Filthy, inept, very scary. Have no idea what is going on. I'm terrified to even go have my labs done there. For one thing, I was given an already open jug that is used to collect a 24 hr urine specimen. I was given a total of two, one of them was sealed one of them was unsealed and apparently probably already have been used by someone else. When I had to go back a second time to see my Duke University doctor, when I went in to give them orders for labs that he had just handed to me moments earlier they told me that they had already been done. To step into the lab and get your work done takes absolutely forever even if there's no one else there waiting. The first time I went in there the girl behind the desk had no idea what she was doing and she took absolutely forever and forever to even begin to get it done and then, on top of that, she was the one who, after touching every single bacteria laden thing in the office section, including keyboards, drawer handles etc, was the one to walk back into the lab and actually draw my blood. To my knowledge her hands had not even been washed after all that. I am immunocompromised and have to take steps to protect myself on every level. This place scares me to death. The scheduler had sent me to this place instead of Duke itself because it's a shorter trip for me. Also to help me not to have to be exposed to so many more people and sicker people and all the rest of the diseases and bacteria and so forth at Duke. Honestly, I'm just not sure it's worth it.
